Here's a really cool 1/1 experimental M10 Double Tap.
Some info on this putter provided by David Billings owner of Machine Putters.
Here's a sneak peek of an experimental model we've been testing. I call it the "Double Tap" as there are two ways of mechanically securing the hosel, including when using the use of Delta Mod Adjuster spacers.
The experimental machine screw from the back of the head first appeared back in 2007. This new "repurposed" use of the heel connection screw is used in combination with the hosel with either zero, one or two Delta Mods. This provides a redundant, back up connection apparatus, and also a means to ensure the hosel is only connected in the correct playing position, one of the requirements for USGA conformance (where each and all levels of adjustment must be conforming).
As with a lot of my work, I have a few layers of meaning and double entendres in the names and artist proof stamps - here including the double, hand stamped logos in the cavity; (accompanied by two medallion "dummy" screws); two bored and tapped connection screw ports (two types); double fonts; double materials (carbon and stainless); double loft and lie changes; two initials (not three) and all in work and IP that spans two decades....
This Machine can be cut to any length so please specify any requests at time of checkout.
